Why Partner With Querytel for Hardware Donations?

Whether you are an individual upgrading a device or an enterprise decommissioning a 500-seat office, we handle every unit with certified security and community purpose.

Eco-Friendly Disposal

Divert hazardous electronic waste from Canadian landfills and adhere strictly to zero-e-waste environmental sustainability standards.

Electronics contain toxic materials including lead, mercury, and flame retardants. Our certified downstream smelting and recycling partners recover 98% of clean metals and plastics.

Community Impact

Refurbished computers directly empower low-income students, grassroots non-profits, and newcomer community programs with digital accessibility.

Every functioning desktop, laptop, or tablet is upgraded with fresh operating systems and educational software before direct delivery to verified Canadian community partners.

Secure Data Destruction

Guaranteed certified NIST 800-88 sanitized data erasure on all storage media (HDD/SSD) with formal chain-of-custody documentation.

We execute multi-pass cryptographic disk sanitization and physical destruction for non-working media, ensuring 100% compliance with PIPEDA and Canadian privacy regulations.

Tax Receipt Eligible

Corporate donors may qualify for charitable tax receipts and CSR impact certificates for annual sustainability reports.

For qualifying bulk hardware batches distributed to registered charitable partners, we assist in coordinating fair-market valuation assessments for corporate tax write-offs.

Transparent Workflow

How the Donation Process Works

A streamlined, 4-step intake designed to make decommissioning or donating old tech 100% frictionless.

01 Step 1

Submit Intake Form

Complete our secure intake form with equipment details. No account required. Individual donors and corporate decommissioning teams are both welcome. Automated confirmation within minutes.

02 Step 2

Review & Coordination

A Querytel IT asset specialist reviews your submission within 24–48 hrs. For bulk donations (10+ items), we schedule pickup at your office; for smaller lots, we provide nearest drop-off instructions.

03 Step 3

Sanitize & Repurpose

All drives undergo certified NIST 800-88 sanitization. Working units are refurbished for partner schools and charities. Non-working units are dismantled for zero-landfill raw material recycling.

04 Step 4

Receive Certificate

Corporate donors receive a formal Querytel Donation Certificate documenting serialized device counts, data destruction verification, and calculated carbon offset metrics for CSR reports.
